Risk & Security Excellence
Architect governance platforms that stand up to scrutiny
The role
As Solution Architect for GRC, IRM, and Risk, you'll lead the technical design and delivery of ServiceNow risk and compliance solutions for Pulsar's most complex client engagements. You'll own solution integrity from discovery through go-live — ensuring that architecture decisions, data models, and integration patterns deliver scalable, auditable, and regulation-ready platforms.
What you'll do
- Lead solution design for ServiceNow GRC/IRM implementations, owning architecture decisions and platform integrity
- Define data models, integration patterns, and migration strategies that support governance and audit requirements
- Conduct discovery and design workshops with client stakeholders, translating risk and compliance requirements into platform solutions
- Produce solution design documents, architecture blueprints, and technical specifications
- Guide and mentor delivery consultants through complex build and configuration activities
- Review and assure solution quality — ensuring implementations are scalable, maintainable, and aligned to ServiceNow best practices
- Collaborate with Risk SMEs and practice leads to shape Pulsar's GRC delivery methodology and accelerators
- Support pre-sales activities including solution scoping, effort estimation, and technical proposal content
- Stay current on ServiceNow GRC/IRM product roadmap and translate new features into client opportunities
What we're looking for
- 6+ years of ServiceNow experience with a focus on GRC, IRM, or risk-related modules
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in Risk and Compliance or GRC
- Proven experience designing and delivering complex, multi-module ServiceNow solutions
- Strong understanding of data architecture — CSDM, CMDB relationships, and how they connect to GRC entities
- Experience with integrations (REST, SOAP, Integration Hub) in the context of risk and compliance workflows
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (DORA, PRA/FCA, ISO 27001) and how they translate into platform requirements
- Excellent communication skills — able to lead workshops and present architecture to technical and business stakeholders
Nice to have
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Certified Master Architect (CMA)
- Experience with Pulsar's AI Control Tower or AI governance implementations
- Previous experience at a Big 4 or specialist GRC consultancy
- Knowledge of VRM migration from legacy platforms to ServiceNow TPRM
- Experience with ServiceNow's Now Create delivery methodology
